ARSENAL MANAGER MIKEL ARTETA TESTS POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has tested positive for coronavirus. The Gunners have closed their training ground and club staff who had contact with Arteta will now self-isolate. Arteta said in a statement: "This is really disappointing but I took the test after feeling poorly. I will be at work as soon as I’m allowed." Arsenal believe a ‘great number of people’ – including first-team staff and coaches – will self-isolate and confirmed the Hale End Academy will also temporarily close. COURT ORDER TO RELEASE SANUSI FROM DETENTION

COURT ORDERS IG, DSS DG TO RELEASE SANUSI FROM DETENTION The Federal High Court Abuja ,on Friday ordered the release of dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, from detention in Awe, a town in Nasarawa State, where he was banished to following his dethronement on Monday. Justice Anwuli Chikere granted the interim order following an ex parte application moved by his lead counsel, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) on Friday. The judge also ordered that the order for the release of the deposed monarch should be served on the respondents to the application. The respondents to the application are, the Muhammed Adamu who is the inspector general of ploice; the Director-General of the Department of State Service, Yusuf Bichi, the Attorney-General of Kano State, Ibrahim Muktar and the Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN). The judge fixed March 26 for further hearing in the case.

Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa would live up to expectation in the new role as a visionary leader who is exclusively committed to the advancement of the region, and Nigeria in general. The South-South Governors Forum, had earlier on 5th of March, 2020, at Asaba, Delta State, resolved to set up a regional security outfit, and to revive the BRACE Commission with a view to tackling insecurity, strengthening the region's economy, re-enforcing regional unity and integration.
