Deltans Have Enjoyed Peace, Development Under Okowa - Ugo Nwokolo




A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Delta State, Mr. Ugo Nwokolo  has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on his five years in office as the Governor of the State.

Mr. Ugo Nwokolo said in his message of felicitation that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has performed remarkably well since he gloriously took the oath of office in 2015 as Governor of the state.

Overdo, as he is also called, stressed that the Governor has transformed the state within the period of five years in office.

He said that the Governor has tackled most of the challenges the state was faced with, gave Asaba the state capital a more deserving status as well. "Ekwueme placed premium on the welfare of Deltans and has shown patriotism in his services to the state, created jobs for the youths, improved the roads networks, and opened up the state for commercial activities".

The renowned philanthropist and business mogul, Mr. Nwokolo, eulogized the Governor for consistently working diligently and purposefully to ensure that there is peace in the state and commended his remarkable achievements in strengthening the state security network and for the "Operation Delta Hawk" initiative.

Overdo, poured encomium on the Governor for his efforts in containing and to eradicate the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

He stressed that the Governor's monumental achievements in areas such as road constructions, health care, human capital development, education and job creations in the past five years are amazingly unprecedented.

He appealed to Deltans to keep supporting the policies and programs of the Governor to ensure the continuity of dividends of democracy and prosperity in building a Stronger Delta.,
