OSSAI OCHONOGOR EXPRESSES ACQUIESCE IN GOV. OKOWA FIVE YEARS IN OFFICE
The member representing Ukwuani LGA on the board of DESOPADEC, Dr. Ossai Samuel Ochonogor has congratulated Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, his deputy, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro on the 5th year anniversary as Governor and Deputy Governor of Delta State.
In his congratulatory message made available to the press, he expressed acquiesce on the programs and activities of the Governor
since he manned the exalted office which he has used in commendably transforming the state.
Dr. Ochonogor commended Governor Okowa for running a pragmatic administration that has been monumental in pursuing the dream of prosperity for all and building a stronger Delta state.
He noted that since the Governor assumed office in 2015 he has demonstrated capacity as a technocrat of repute, working prudently and sacrificially towards the all rounds development of the state.
Ochonogor described the Governor's five years in office as richly rewarding, stressing that the Governor has exemplified excellence and has raised the bar of good governance.
He noted that Delta State has attained greater heights under the Governor Okowa administration, with unimaginable transformations, countless infrastructural projects, and meaningful and beneficial human capital developmental programs made available for Deltans.
He commended the Governor for sustaining most of his life-changing programs, such as YAGEP/STEP and other vocational trainings which he said has greatly impacted on Deltans, most especially the youths.
He further commended the Governor for transforming the health sector of the state and for sustaining the various health succor programs as well as the health insurance programmes in the state.
Dr. Ochonogor equally appreciated the Governor's approach in handling the wake of the COVID-19 in the state, attributing part of the success recorded to his visionary leadership, his productiveness, clairvoyance and sincerity of purpose.
He louded the Governor for his laudable achievements in the past five years; mentioning the likes of Asaba International Airport upgrade, the Stephen Keshi Stadium, the Asaba Drainage project, the State Office Complex and other various road projects constructed across the state, among others, which has made Delta a pacesetter state, he said.
"I heartily congratulate you Ekwueme on your one year anniversary in your second term and five blissful years altogether as the Governor of Delta State. We believe in you and I wish you a stronger and blissful administration ahead ". However, Dr. Ochonogor urged Deltans to double their supports for Okowa administration to enable him to successfully drive home the prosperity agenda in building a Stronger Delta, a state where everyone will be proud to call home.
