DEMOCRACY DAY: DELTA STATE IS WINNING THE WAR AGAINST COVID-19 - OJO
The former Chairman on Health, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Dr) Alphonsus Ojo has felicitated with Nigerians on Democracy Day celebration today.
The former Delta Lawmaker, in his message of felicitation called on Deltans not to lose hope in the collective fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hon. Ojo said that the response of the state government in containing the pandemic has been amazing.
The Paraclete of Ukwuani people, Hon. Ojo equally commended all Heath practitioners in the state especially the ones on the front line combating the deadly pandemic.
He urged Deltans to support the Health Practitioners and the state government in containing the pandemic by adhering to precautionary measures.
He reminded Deltans that the principle of democracy is freedom, equality, love and tolerance. "Every citizens must try as much as possible to work by these principles", he said.
He also called on Deltans to sustain their supports and prayers for His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in his efforts in building a stronger Delta.
"Let us continue to be diligent and firm in our support for His Excellency as we continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy, under his administration through the building of a stronger Delta where there is prosperity for all Deltans".
