UGO NWOKOLO TO CONSOLIDATE DELTA RURAL YOUTH SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAMME
........Sets To Engage Ndokwa Youths
The Delta state Government through the Ministry of Youth Development had recently initiated the state Rural Youth Skill Acquisition Programme, a platform that will avail youths the privileges to acquire skills and self development.
But in an amazing development, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Mr. Ugo Nwokolo, popularly called Overdo, has announced plans to consolidate the efforts of Delta State Government on the said Youth Skill Acquisition Programmes.
Mr. Ugo Nwokolo is an illustrious son of Ossisa in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State, a philanthropist and business mogul.
Chatting with the press on Thursday, the philanthropist politician said that the development is geared towards ensuring that more youths prospers under the administration of His Excellency, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa.
Mr. Ugo Nwokolo also commended the state government for the initiative.
He said that it is a perfect idea especially in this critical time where the COVID-19 has apparently impacted badly on the society.
Nwokolo said that he believes that the programme would have a great impact on the various participating youths in Delta State.
He reiterated his decision to continually support the policies and programmes of the State Government.
He disclosed that he has concluded plans to engage Ndokwa Youths across the Three LGAs in tandem with the Delta State Rural Youth Acquisition programme but with more possible options.
Overdo, said that the programme selection process will be fair to all.
However, he noted that the prospects of the programme at the end should be able to raise their standard of living and equally activate the spirit of self reliance and compete with other youths at the urban areas and in the diaspora.
He also went further to commend the youths of Ndokwa nation for their peaceful relationships with the multi national companies operating in their areas and for their sincere support for the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP in the state.
He urged the youths to always make good use of any opportunity they are exposed to in life for their own betterment and that of their loved ones.
Mr. Ugo Nwokolo equally admonished youths in Delta State to strive for integrity to be able to live uprightly, serve humanity selflessly and provide purposeful leadership when they attain positions of authorities.
