DEMOCRACY DAY: LET'S WORK TO MAKE IMPACT ON ONE ANOTHER - OSSAI OCHONOGOR



Dr. Ossai Samuel Ochonogor has felicitated with Nigerians on Democracy Day celebration today.

In his message of felicitation, he called on citizens to work to make impact on one another, while pursuing their aspirations.

He said that Democracy marked a turning point in the political history of Nigeria and ushered the nation into a new political atmosphere that was founded on freedom, equality and tolerance.

Ochonogor stressed that freedom, equality and tolerance is the concept of democracy. He urged the people to strive more to make democracy a way of life.

Dr. Ochonogor, a DESOPADEC Board member representing Ukwuani LGA, Delta State, added that "while we celebrate democracy, we should not forget that we are stronger when we live together in love and unity".

The DESOPADEC Commissioner further said that "we must therefore ensure that the solid foundation of democracy built on freedom, equality and tolerance is promoted.

He commended Deltans for their support to the policies of the state government led by His Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa. "Your prayers and solidarity have been of a great support to us in government", he added.

He urged Deltans to continue to support the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in his determination of spreading prosperity in building a stronger Delta.
