Hessington Okolo's Jamb Beneficiaries Scores Highest
Barr. Hessington Okolo, the deputy legal adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State had in the month of January, 2020, registered some students in Ukwuani LGA for Jamb and Waec examinations, respectively.
Barr. Hessington Okolo had stated that; "when the citizens of a society are educated, it would enable them to contribute more meaningfully towards the advancement of such society". Noting that "education remains the bedrock of any nation, and for us to get rid of social vices and ills in our society, we must support the education of our young ones".
The PDP deputy legal adviser equally said that "the gesture is aimed at promoting the Stronger Delta Agenda of Delta State Government and to encourage young persons to take education seriously and be equipped for life.
A good number of the beneficiaries made good scores with Miss Jimoh Peace from Obiaruku community scoring the highest amongst the beneficiaries with 274 points.
Barr. Hessington Okolo who could not hold back his joy upon receiving the results of the students congratulated those who did well and encourage others not to lose hope in their quest for education.
Barr. Okolo reiterated his earlier promise to support the candidates with bursary on admission into their respective choice institutions to aid their quest for knowledge in a bid to better their lives, their families, and for the advancement of the society.
