DESOPADEC: ONE YEAR OF IMPACT WITH OSSAI SAMUEL OCHONOGOR



The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) on Tuesday, commenced the commissioning of completed projects across Ndokwa Nation.

The exercise was to commemorate the One Year Anniversary of the present board led by the MD/CEO of the board, Chief Bashorun Askia Ogieh.

The new baord has Dr. Ossai Samuel Ochonogor as the Commissioner representing Ndokwa Nation.

However, the activities and impact made so far by Dr. Ossai Samuel Ochonogor is highly commendable and appreciated.

Some of his achievements include;

- Ensured the visitation of abandoned DESOPADEC projects.

- Ensured the completion of some DESOPADEC projects.

- Food and cash palliatives to cushion economic hardship on the people.

-  Appointments to some deserving youths with great benefits attached.

- Social welfare packages to widows and less privileged. 

- Restored the confidence of youths in OFN programme.

-  Ensured that enlisted youths got their entitlements in OFN programme.

- Back to School Programme for pupils.

- Free Jamb Registration programme for university aspirants and more.

Within the period of one year, the "NEYE'S TONIC" has been invigorating and intensifying the Stronger Delta Agenda of His Excellency, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa.

His performance has been inspiring. His presence in the Board has been a great blessing to Ndokwa Nation and we hope to see greater accomplishments by DESOPADEC through him.
