 DELTA AT 29: ALPHONSUS OJO CONGRATULATES DELTANS, SAYS PROSPERITY IN PROGRESS

The Paraclete of Ukwuani people, Hon. (Dr) Alphonsus Ojo has congratulated the good people of Delta State on the 29th anniversary of the creation of the state, today.

The former Delta Lawmaker, said that in spite of all challenges, the state is witnessing rapid infrastructural development under the Governor Okowa administration.

He paid tribute to all past leaders of the State for the contributions towards her development.

Hon. (Dr) Ojo, was also full of praise for His Excellency Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa for all his efforts in building a stronger Delta under this SMART administration, where there is prosperity for all Deltans.

He said that in spite of the economic crisis in the country, coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic, the state Governor has continued to sustain his commitments to Deltans through the numerous impactful projects and notable programmes his administration had embarked upon. 

He noted that the Okowa Government has created jobs for the youths, transformed the health, education, economic and sports sectors as well as critical infrastructure such as roads which has opened up the state, and public service. 

He also stated that the Okowa Government has taken human capital development in the State to a new level through the YAGEP, STEP and FSP programs.

The Paraclete of Ukwuani people appreciated Deltans, especially the youths for the relative peace and stability in the State.

In conclusion Hon. Dr. Alphonsus Ojo called on Deltans to sustain prayers for the Governor to achieve his SMART agenda where there is prosperity for all Deltans.
