Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, representing the good people of Delta North Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Niger Delta, has congratulated His Execellency, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, the former Executive Governor of Delta State on the auspicious occasion of his 62nd birthday anniversary.
In his message, the federal lawmaker paid tribute to the architect of modern Delta State, a man who governed the state much to the admiration and applause from all, a bosom friend spanning over three decades and a true leader.
In his congratulatory message, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi further described Chief James Onanefe Ibori as a detribalised leader, who championed the cause of the south south region for control of her rich mineral resources culminating in the establishment of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in the year 2000.
In a similar vein, Nwaoboshi noted that the legacies of Ibori's administration as Governor of Delta State between 1999-2007 remains visible to the blind, audible to the deaf even years after departing the lofty position.
While wishing his leader, friend and brother many more fruitful, memorable and quality years ahead, Nwaoboshi prayed God in heaven to grant the celebrator his good heart desires in perfect health of mind, body, soul and spirit.
Happy Birthday once more, Your Excellency!
